The European Clinical Research Alliance on Infectious Diseases (ECRAID) aims at strengthening clinical research in the field of infectious diseases by coordinating Europe's largest academia-driven, self-sustainable 'warm-base' clinical research network.

On 10-11 March 2025, members of Ecraid gathered in the beautiful city of Cascais, Portugal, for the Ecraid Foundation Science Meeting and the General Assembly.

This year, the General Assembly featured a new format that combined the Assembly, where Ecraid members had the opportunity to share project’s updates and results, with several scientific sessions, where invited speakers provided valuable insights into several topics including digital health, platform clinical trials, the future of surveillance data, and preparedness for future epidemics.

It was a terrific opportunity to discuss plans and share ideas for the future of EPI-Net within the European clinical research landscape!
